These zones are intended to serve as international centers for Ayurveda, Yoga, and spiritual tourism, promoting the message of 'Yoga in Every Home, Health for Every Person.'

Economic Opportunities and Employment Generation

The Chief Minister highlighted that these zones would not only foster employment opportunities but also help reduce migration from hilly areas. Plans include the creation of two modern towns that will serve as global wellness and yoga industry hubs, attracting yoga instructors, Ayurvedic practitioners, and spiritual leaders from around the world.

Financial Support for Yoga Initiatives

Under the new Yoga Policy, yoga and meditation centers can receive subsidies of up to ₹20 lakhs, while research in yoga and naturopathy can access grants of up to ₹10 lakhs.
