This is an evolving story, and further information is expected soon.

In a related incident, a Lufthansa flight that was supposed to arrive at Hyderabad airport on the same day had to turn back to Frankfurt, Germany, due to a bomb threat, as per official sources.

The flight, designated LH752, took off from Germany and was set to land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad early Monday morning. However, Lufthansa stated that they did not receive landing clearance, while officials at Hyderabad airport confirmed that a bomb threat was reported.

A spokesperson for Lufthansa mentioned, “We did not obtain permission to land in Hyderabad, which is why the aircraft returned.” An official from Hyderabad airport verified that the flight went back to Germany after the bomb threat was reported while it was still outside Indian airspace.
