Priya Saroj, born on November 23, 1998, in Varanasi, completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and later pursued a Bachelor of Law (LLB) at Amity University.

At 26, Priya is a trained lawyer and a rising politician, being the daughter of seasoned politician Tufani Saroj, a three-time MP and current MLA from Kerakat. She secured her first Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 general elections on a Samajwadi Party ticket.
