RCB's Historic Victory in IPL 2025
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) celebrated their first-ever IPL championship after a thrilling match against Punjab Kings, witnessed by around 91,000 fans. Virat Kohli, a pivotal figure for the franchise since the inception of the IPL, has remained loyal to RCB throughout his career. The team faced considerable criticism for not securing the trophy until now, prompting Kohli to share his candid thoughts following their IPL 2025 victory.
“God is great. I’m overwhelmed with excitement and just want to get some proper rest! The stress has been immense, with so much chatter around RCB. Many people have trolled us and made jokes,” Kohli expressed during an interview with Jatin Sapru.
"rcb ye, rcb voh", "bahut kuch kaha logo nez bahut troll kiya"🥹❤️

“However, this adversity has only made us stronger and united as a team. Our bond with the fans is robust. Now, I can finally sleep peacefully,” he added.
Under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, who captained the team for the first time this season, RCB ended their long wait for a trophy. In the IPL final against Punjab Kings, RCB set a target of 190 runs. Despite a strong start from PBKS, RCB made a remarkable comeback to secure their place as champions of the IPL 2025 season.
