Pranav Adani, the Director of Adani Enterprises, emphasized on Thursday the necessity for a significant transformation for India to achieve its full potential and evolve into a 'Viksit Bharat' by the year 2047. During the inaugural foundation day of the Chintan Research Foundation in New Delhi, he stated, 'To realize the vision set by PM Modi, a substantial transformation is essential for India.'
Discussing the objectives of the Chintan Research Foundation (CRF), he highlighted its focus on vital topics such as climate change, equitable energy transitions, the changing global economy, essential supply chains, dynamic trade relations, and the geopolitics that influence the future of the world.
Adani remarked, 'For the past thirty years, the Adani Group has been at the forefront of growth and innovation by venturing into the most challenging infrastructure sectors in our country. We envision the Chintan Research Foundation operating similarly, engaging in critical research, discussions, recommendations, and impactful initiatives while maintaining independence and editorial integrity.'
In a separate conversation regarding India's economic growth, Pranav Adani expressed, 'Currently, India is in an excellent position. Our population of 1.4 billion is our true asset. As mentioned by one of the speakers, 50% of the economy actively contributes to GDP growth, while the other half remains passive. This needs to be addressed for the real growth story of India to unfold, and I am very optimistic about it. Our group shares this optimism.'

Adani also stressed the importance of inclusivity, stating that the CRF's research and initiatives should extend beyond the national capital to benefit remote regions as well.
'We must look beyond Delhi. India is not confined to one city or region; it is a symphony of diverse voices across various geographies. The time has come to be inclusive by reaching out to places like Ranchi, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, the Northeast, coastal areas, and the heartlands. Our efforts should reach wherever our people reside... The Chintan Research Foundation must enhance its presence across regions, conducting grassroots research, collaborating with local policymakers, and organizing events nationwide. This will help bring regional priorities to the forefront, and our role is to highlight them at the national level,' Adani stated.
He further mentioned that the foundation should provide 'policy narratives' to other developing nations.
'Simultaneously, our ambitions should transcend borders and oceans. As the Global South progresses, we must share our growth experiences and offer policy narratives to other developing countries,' he added.
After the event, Adani addressed concerns regarding the safety and security of Adani Group's projects amid rising tensions in the Middle East, assuring that 'all our assets abroad are secure.'
'While there are concerns, fortunately, all our international assets remain safe. There is no need for worry,' he concluded.
