Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder: Shocking Details of Failed Murder Plots

Unraveling the Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case
New and disturbing revelations are surfacing in the murder case linked to a honeymoon in Meghalaya. Following the tragic death of Raja Raghuvansi, law enforcement has ramped up their investigation efforts. The interrogation of five suspects, including Sonam Raghuvanshi, has disclosed that Raja was murdered on the fourth attempt after three previous plots failed.
'Burned Body, River Plot': The Killers' Initial Plans
The conspiracy orchestrated by Sonam Raghuvanshi and her alleged partner Raj Kushwaha dates back to February. Reports indicate that the perpetrators devised multiple schemes to eliminate Sonam before her marriage to Raja. Their first idea was to create the illusion that she had drowned in a river. The second, more gruesome plan involved killing another woman, placing her remains in Sonam's vehicle, and then setting it ablaze to stage her death. Raja might have survived had the conspirators succeeded in their attempt to fake Sonam's demise.
Backup Plans for Raja's Murder
As per SP Vivek Syiem, the initial assassination attempt on Raja occurred in Guwahati, where the conspirators intended to dispose of his body in various locations. On May 19, the suspects traveled to Guwahati before the couple's visit to the Kamakhya temple in Assam. However, the plot was scrapped when Sonam decided to visit Shillong and Sohra instead. After two more failed attempts, the killers ultimately succeeded at Weisawdong Falls in Meghalaya.
