Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case: Recent developments in the Meghalaya Honeymoon murder case have led to a viral video circulating on social media. This video allegedly features Raj Kushwaha, one of the suspects, at the funeral of Raja Raghuvanshi. In the footage, he is seen interacting with Sonam's father, which has ignited new suspicions regarding whether her family was aware of their supposed relationship. His attendance at Raja's funeral has intensified scrutiny over his connection to Sonam and his potential role in the murder. On Monday, the Shillong Police secured a seven-day transit remand for three suspects from a Madhya Pradesh court in relation to the Raja Raghuvanshi murder investigation.

As the video gained traction, Raja's mother, Uma Raghuvanshi, confirmed that several individuals reported seeing Raj with Sonam's father during her son's funeral. It has been suggested that Kushwaha was responsible for driving a vehicle and transporting people to the Raghuvanshi family home after Raja's body was brought back to Indore.

In a previous statement, she expressed her belief that if Sonam is found guilty, she should face severe consequences. Uma mentioned that Sonam had always treated her kindly and would embrace her during their encounters.

“The police didn’t inform us this morning that Sonam was located. A CBI inquiry is necessary. If Sonam is innocent, why is she being accused? She was always polite and affectionate towards me,” stated Uma Raghuvanshi.

When questioned about Raj Kushwaha, she claimed to have no knowledge of him but suggested that Sonam's parents might be familiar with him.

“I was unaware of Raj Kushwaha; perhaps Sonam’s parents know him. Our children never conceal anything from us and would never harm anyone,” Raja’s mother remarked.

She also recalled feeling uneasy when Raja wore his gold chain to Meghalaya, fearing it might lead to trouble.

In the latest updates, the Meghalaya Police have successfully obtained the transit remand for the three suspects.
