Major Incident on the Set of 'The India House' in Hyderabad

Accident on Film Set
On June 12, a significant accident occurred during the filming of 'The India House' in Hyderabad, which features Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role and is produced by actor Ram Charan. This incident marks the second mishap on the set, as a large water tank reportedly burst in Shamshabad, causing extensive flooding and halting the shoot.
Video footage from the scene has surfaced online, depicting chaos as water flooded the set. Crew members were seen fleeing for safety while others attempted to salvage costly filming equipment. Some individuals sustained minor injuries, and substantial damage was reported to the set, leading to a temporary suspension of shooting.
In the aftermath, lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha took to social media to confirm the situation. He posted a video from the location, stating, “We are all safe. In our pursuit of delivering the best cinematic experience, we sometimes take risks. Today, we narrowly escaped a major disaster thanks to the vigilant crew and the precautions we had in place. Although we lost some expensive equipment, thankfully, there were no injuries.”
Producer Abhishek Agarwal also commented on the incident, saying, “A mishap occurred on the sets of #TheIndiaHouse during today’s shoot. Everyone is safe. Thank you for your concern. #JaiMataDi.” Ram Charan’s production house shared updates to reassure fans and supporters.
'The India House' is directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, with Nikhil Siddhartha in a pivotal role. The film, backed by Ram Charan and Abhishek Agarwal, is not centered around Veer Savarkar, as clarified by Nikhil in a previous interview. Instead, it tells the story of a group of Indian students in 1905, presenting a straightforward historical narrative that audiences will appreciate.
