Kolhapur Shocking Murder: Woman Stabbed by Live-In Partner Over Marriage Dispute

A tragic incident unfolded in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, on Wednesday, where a 23-year-old woman was fatally stabbed by her live-in partner. The incident occurred in the Sarnobatwadi locality, and the victim has been identified as Samiksha Bharat Narasimhe, who hailed from Kasba Bavda. Both Samiksha and the accused, Satish Yadav, were residents of Shivaji Peth and worked at the same establishment.
The couple had been cohabiting in Sarnobatwadi for several months. Reports indicate that a dispute had arisen between them concerning marriage over the past week. While Satish was pressuring Samiksha to marry him, she was not inclined to do so.
On the day of the incident, Samiksha was in her room with a friend when Satish arrived and, in a fit of rage, attacked her with a knife. The assault was so severe that the knife penetrated her ribs. Her friend, along with nearby individuals, rushed her to the hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries before receiving medical attention.
A murder case has been filed at the Gandhinagar Police Station, and authorities are actively searching for the suspect while conducting a thorough investigation. This incident has reignited discussions about the dynamics of live-in relationships, trust, and the significance of personal choices.
