Jaishankar's Strong Stance on Terrorism: A Call for Global Unity
India's Response to Terrorism
On Tuesday, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized that the situation is not merely a conflict between India and Pakistan, but rather a reaction to the threat posed by terrorism in Brussels. He reaffirmed India's commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and the importance of resisting nuclear intimidation.
During a joint press conference with Kaja Kallas, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Jaishankar stated, "It's crucial to recognize that this is not just a bilateral issue. Instead, it is a response to the ongoing threat of terrorism. I encourage you to view it not as India versus Pakistan, but as India versus Terroristan for a clearer understanding."

"We firmly believe in a zero-tolerance approach to terrorism in all its forms. It is vital that we do not succumb to nuclear threats. This challenge is interconnected globally, and strong international cooperation is essential," he remarked.
Discussion on Global Issues
In the same press conference, Jaishankar shared insights from his discussions with Kaja Kallas. They covered various global issues, including the situation in Europe, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, developments in the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, and the Indo-Pacific region.
"We exchanged perspectives on the global order and will delve deeper into the situation in Europe, the Ukraine conflict, and other regions in our upcoming discussions," Jaishankar concluded.
