Witness Account

Kunal Jain, who observed the event, expressed his disbelief at the treatment, stating he had never seen such actions even towards terrorists. He noted that around 50 bystanders were present, yet no one intervened. Jain recounted that the authorities claimed they could not understand Hindi, while the student was speaking in Haryanvi. Jain attempted to assist by speaking to a police officer, but was denied the opportunity. The distressed student was heard crying, "Mai pagal nahi hu, yeh mujhe pagal bana rahe hai. Mai pagal nahi hu, yeh mujhe pagal sabit kar rahe hai."
