IMD Weather LIVE Updates: The heat continues to grip various states, with temperatures soaring beyond 40 degrees Celsius. In many areas of Delhi/NCR, the temperature has crossed 43°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of extreme heat conditions in West Rajasthan from June 10 to 13.


Residents should prepare for heatwave conditions expected in Jammu-Kashmir from June 10 to 12, Punjab from June 10 to 13, and in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh from June 10 to 12. Additionally, East Uttar Pradesh will experience high temperatures on June 10, while East Rajasthan and northern Madhya Pradesh will face similar conditions on June 10 and 11. Conversely, several northeastern states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, are dealing with waterlogging due to heavy rainfall.


The IMD has predicted that heavy rains will persist in these northeastern regions throughout the week. In Uttarakhand, heavy downpours are anticipated to disrupt daily life until June 15. Thunderstorms and rain are also expected over the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on June 11 and 12, as well as in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on June 12, 14, and 15, and Odisha on June 10, 14, and 15.
