Hyderabad-Tirupati SpiceJet Flight Makes Safe Emergency Landing

SpiceJet Flight Returns to Hyderabad
A SpiceJet flight from Hyderabad to Tirupati had to make an emergency landing on Thursday shortly after takeoff from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The flight, designated SG 2696, encountered a technical issue in the air, prompting the pilots to return. Fortunately, the aircraft landed safely at the airport, and all passengers were deplaned without incident, as confirmed by the GMR PRO.
According to SpiceJet's official statement, the Q400 aircraft experienced a temporary illumination of the AFT baggage door light shortly after departure. The cabin pressure remained stable throughout the flight, and as a precaution, the pilots opted to return to Hyderabad. The aircraft landed without any emergency procedures, and arrangements were made for an alternate aircraft to continue the journey to Tirupati.
