Greater Noida West: Mother and Son Rescued After Poisoning Incident Linked to Financial Struggles

Tragic Poisoning Incident in Greater Noida
In a distressing event, a mother and her son ingested poison in a luxury society located in Greater Noida West. Fortunately, police intervened in time, providing immediate medical assistance and transporting them to a hospital.
The individuals involved, identified as Seema Garg and her son Siddharth Garg, resided in the Cleo County Society. Authorities reported that their financial situation had significantly declined following the passing of Seema's husband.
The police were alerted by Seema's brother, Pradeep, who expressed concern after failing to reach them by phone. Upon arrival, officers, assisted by maintenance staff, gained entry to their apartment.
Inside, they discovered Seema and Siddharth unconscious on their bed, with a white foamy substance around their mouths. They were swiftly taken to a medical facility, where doctors confirmed they had ingested poison. Subsequently, both were transferred to a hospital in Delhi for further treatment.
Seema's husband, Sudhir Garg, a businessman, had passed away a few months prior, leading to a decline in the family's financial stability, which reportedly resulted in unpaid rent for their residence. Shakti Mohan Awasthi, DCP of Central Noida, stated that both Seema and Siddharth are currently receiving medical care, and an investigation is underway to explore all possible angles.
