Greater Noida Road Accident Claims Life of CISF Soldier

Tragic Incident Near Bankapur Village

A tragic road accident occurred near Bankapur village in the Jewar police station area of Greater Noida, resulting in the death of a CISF soldier named Shishpal Singh, aged 33. His companion, Jitendra, sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical care. As of now, the police have not received any formal complaints regarding the incident.

The police have proactively begun searching for the driver of the car involved in the accident. Shishpal and Jitendra were on their motorcycle, en route to the Yamuna Expressway to board a bus for their duty. Suddenly, a speeding vehicle collided with their motorcycle at Bankapur village, leading to Shishpal's untimely death. Bystanders attempted to apprehend the driver, but he fled the scene.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas, although the rural setting has limited camera coverage. They have identified certain locations along the road towards the Yamuna Expressway where cameras are operational and are analyzing the footage. Reports suggest that the identity of the driver has been established, and he is expected to be arrested soon.

In a related incident from a week ago on the service road of the Yamuna Expressway, the Dankaur police have arrested a tractor driver named Sachin, who was involved in a collision that resulted in the death of a company employee, Subhash, while he was returning home after work.
