On Tuesday, the Urban Services department of Greater Noida Authority conducted a significant operation to remove unauthorized street vendors. Officials indicated that future actions would be stringent against illegal vendors.

The operation, led by Senior Manager Manoj Kumar Sachan, resulted in the removal of approximately twelve stalls and carts that were illegally positioned outside the Mayfair Society shopping complex in Techzone-4. The vendors were cautioned that severe penalties would follow if they attempted to set up their stalls again unlawfully.

In another area, Sector Ecotech-III, the Urban Services team also dismantled makeshift setups of fabricators operating illegally by the roadside. Prerna Singh, the Additional CEO of the Greater Noida Authority, emphasized that the city will persist in its efforts to eliminate unauthorized street vendors from its highways.
