Heartbreaking Incident in Faridabad
Faridabad, Haryana: A tragic event unfolded in Faridabad on Tuesday when a 45-year-old man took his own life by jumping in front of a train, along with his four children. The incident resulted in the death of all five family members in mere seconds. Disturbing details have emerged regarding this case. The deceased, identified as Manoj Mahato from Bihar, reportedly made this drastic decision following a dispute with his wife.
Reports indicate that Manoj left his home the previous morning after an argument with his spouse. He allegedly informed her that he was taking their children to a park. However, he later provided them with cold drinks and snacks before leading them to the railway tracks for the tragic act. In a heartbreaking twist, witnesses revealed that the children attempted to escape from their father's grip as he held them tightly.
The incident occurred around 12:55 PM when the Golden Temple Express was approaching Ballabgarh station. Eyewitnesses saw Manoj walking along the tracks with his four children, holding the hands of two while carrying the other two on his shoulders. Despite the train's driver sounding the horn repeatedly, Manoj remained on the tracks and jumped as the train neared.
The children were identified as Murli (5), Chotu (3), Pawan (10), and Karu (9). During the recovery of the bodies from the tracks, police discovered a note in Mahato's pocket containing his wife's phone number. According to Inspector Rajpal from the GRP, the motive behind this tragic act may have been linked to his wife's alleged infidelity.
