Dwarka Expressway Launches India's First AI-Driven Traffic Management System

Introduction of Advanced Traffic Management System
In a significant move to enhance highway safety, the Dwarka Expressway has become the first in India to implement an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS).
This initiative, developed by the Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) and executed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), spans a total distance of 56.46 kilometers. It is being hailed as a pioneering model for AI-based traffic management and road safety across the nation.

The ATMS employs artificial intelligence, sensors, and real-time data to enhance road safety. The Dwarka Expressway serves as the third major route linking Delhi with Gurugram.
Stretching 29 kilometers, the expressway begins at Shiv Murti on National Highway 8 and extends to the outskirts of Gurugram.
