Dipika Kakar's Health Update

Dipika Kakar has made her way back home following a lengthy 14-hour surgery to treat liver cancer. The actress had caused concern among her fans when she disclosed her stage two liver cancer diagnosis. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, has been actively sharing updates regarding her recovery.

In a recent YouTube vlog, Shoaib expressed, "She was discharged after spending 11 days in the hospital and is now here for a follow-up. The last few days have been extremely challenging for my family and me, but we are grateful for everyone’s prayers and support. This is just one phase; there are many more challenges ahead. Currently, everything seems fine, but we have only reached one milestone. There are still numerous aspects we need to address. We will continue to follow the doctors' guidance. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and Dipika is recovering well. However, there are still several pending matters that need attention. We hope those will also proceed smoothly."

Shoaib further elaborated on Dipika's condition, stating, "While everything appears stable, we will need to return for follow-up appointments since the tumor was malignant. This situation requires careful monitoring. The doctors have scheduled another visit for us in a week, after which they will determine the next steps for treatment, if necessary. For now, we are taking it one day at a time."

Dipika has previously expressed her gratitude towards her fans for their unwavering support during this difficult period. In her vlog, she shared, "I can only say this much right now — thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers. Even in the hospital, the staff and nurses were coming to me, saying, ‘Ma’am, you will be alright.’ Relatives of other patients were also praying for me, despite having their own loved ones to worry about. These gestures mean a lot. I am feeling much better now. My recovery is going well, and I am in a much better place."
