Application Process for Supplementary Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the application process for the 2025 Supplementary Examination aimed at private candidates in classes 10 and 12. Applications can be submitted online from May 30 to June 17, 2025, exclusively via the official CBSE website.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Private students who took the CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board exams in 2025 and received an exchange are eligible to apply.

Additionally, candidates who have passed but wish to enhance their scores in specific subjects can also register.

Regular students with compartmental exams must apply through their respective schools and cannot submit individual applications.

Exam Schedule and Important Instructions

The supplementary examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled to commence on July 15, 2025.

Class 10 students may take supplementary exams in up to two subjects, while Class 12 students can apply for improvement in only one subject.

Fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational information.

Select the subject(s) for which you are applying for the supplementary exam.

Upload the required documents along with a recent passport-sized photograph.

Make the payment using one of the available online payment methods.

It is advisable to download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Before submitting, candidates should verify all details and ensure the correct subject(s) are selected, as changes cannot be made post-submission.
