Ben Duckett Lauds Jasprit Bumrah as the World's Best Bowler

England's Opener Praises Bumrah's Bowling Skills
In a thrilling second day of the Test match in Leeds between India and England, Ben Duckett, the English opener, expressed his admiration for Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. The day was filled with excitement, showcasing Rishabh Pant's impressive century alongside India's surprising batting collapse, followed by a strong batting performance from England.
England dominated much of the day's play, largely thanks to a composed innings from Pope, who achieved his ninth Test century and his second against India while batting at the crucial No. 3 position.
Discussing Bumrah, Duckett confidently stated that he considers him the 'best bowler in the world.' He acknowledged Bumrah's effectiveness in various conditions, emphasizing the challenges of facing him regardless of pitch or weather.
'He excels in India on the flattest pitches, and when he bowls downhill with the lights on and the ball swinging, it becomes extremely difficult. We managed to limit the damage early on, and it could have been much worse today, so we are satisfied with our current position,' he remarked.
Duckett further elaborated on Bumrah's unique run-up, noting how it builds anticipation. He highlighted Bumrah's ability to deliver multiple types of deliveries without any visible cues, making it hard for batsmen to predict whether they are facing a bouncer, slower ball, outswinger, or inswinger until the ball is released. 'His wrist speed is remarkable, which is why you must focus intently on the ball when facing him,' he added.
