This approach allows viewers to pay specifically for the film they wish to watch, eliminating the need for a subscription to any streaming service. This strategy mirrors the traditional cinema experience, where audiences pay for individual films, ultimately benefiting producers.
As per sources, Aamir Khan is keen on this release strategy for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. A source revealed, "Aamir prefers not to release his films on streaming platforms immediately after their theatrical run, as it may deter audiences from attending cinemas. This is also why the film's poster does not feature any streaming logos."

Recent reports suggest that Aamir Khan turned down a ₹120 crore offer from a major streaming service to release the film online.
'Sitaare Zameen Par' is an official adaptation of the 2018 Spanish film 'Champions', which tells the story of a suspended basketball coach who must complete community service by training a team of players with disabilities for a basketball tournament.
