‘The Traitors India’ Season 2 Announced Following Successful Debut
Season 2 of ‘The Traitors India’ Confirmed
Following its remarkable success and overwhelming social media engagement, Amazon Prime Video has officially announced the renewal of ‘The Traitors India’ for a second season, hosted by Karan Johar. Since its launch on June 12, the show has quickly gained a massive following.
Adapted from the globally popular IDTV format and produced in collaboration with All3Media International, this reality series has emerged as one of the fastest-growing shows worldwide, with adaptations in over 30 nations.
The Indian edition has captivated viewers from the outset. According to Prime Video, it has reached audiences in more than 88% of India's pin codes, generating significant buzz on social media due to its unexpected twists and dramatic moments.
Prime Video India shared the exciting news about Season 2's development on Instagram. Here’s a glimpse:

The first season featured 20 celebrity contestants, including notable names such as Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmin Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed.
To date, contestants Raj Kundra, Lakshmi Manchu, Sahil Salathia, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar have been eliminated. Notably, Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha are secretly playing the role of Traitors, a fact unknown to the other participants.
New episodes of ‘The Traitors’ are released every Thursday at 8 PM IST.
