Renowned Tamil actor Rajesh has sadly passed away at the age of 75 on May 29. Reports indicate that he experienced low blood pressure in the morning and tragically succumbed while being transported to the hospital. His nephew confirmed the heartbreaking news.
The South Indian film community and his fans are mourning this significant loss. Superstar Rajinikanth, who starred alongside Rajesh in several memorable films including Thai Veedu, Billa, and Thanikattu Raja, expressed his sorrow on social media, stating: “The sudden news of my dear friend, actor Rajesh's death, has left me in shock and deep sadness. He was an exceptional person; may his soul find peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.”

Throughout his illustrious career, Rajesh appeared in over 150 films, beginning with ‘Aval Oru Thodar Kathai’ in 1974. His filmography includes notable titles such as Kanni Paruvathile, Andha 7 Naatkal, Thanikattu Raja, Payanangal Mudivathillai, Metti, Anal Kaatru, Thai Veedu, Oru Indhiya Kanavu, Simma Soppanam, Sirai, Manakanakku, Ilangeswaran, Sathya, Vaathiyaar Veettu Pillai, Dheena, among many others.
His final film was Merry Christmas, featuring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi.
