The promotional team for 'Thug Life' recently visited Delhi, where they engaged with the media. During this event, Kamal Haasan discussed the decision to implement an eight-week window before the film is available on OTT platforms. Many in the industry have expressed concerns about the impact of OTT on traditional cinema. Haasan mentioned that the team requested the OTT service to allow for this eight-week gap, believing it could benefit other films as well.

Education should be accessible, and we should not create obstacles in that path." He highlighted that the resistance to Hindi imposition is not limited to the southern states, expressing solidarity with regions like Punjab, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, emphasizing the need for linguistic inclusivity across India.
