The film has taken an innovative approach by offering two distinct versions, set aboard a luxurious cruise ship where a billionaire meets his demise. Here’s a look at the box office earnings of Housefull 5 so far.
Box Office Collection on Day 6:
As reported by Sacnilk, Housefull 5 experienced a slight decline in its earnings on Monday but has maintained a steady presence in theaters. Preliminary estimates indicate that the film garnered Rs 8.00 crore on its sixth day, bringing its total earnings to Rs 119.75 crore within the first six days.
The film had a robust opening weekend, starting with Rs 24 crore on Day 1. It saw a remarkable increase of 29.17% on Day 2, earning Rs 31 crore, followed by a further rise on Day 3 with Rs 32.5 crore, reflecting a growth of 4.84%. However, the collections took a hit on Day 4, dropping to Rs 13 crore, marking a 60% decrease. The downward trend continued on Day 5, with earnings of Rs 11.25 crore, a further decline of 13.46%.
Despite the drop during the weekdays, the film's overall performance remains commendable.
The creators of Housefull 5 have introduced two versions of the film, each featuring different conclusions. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff portray police officers investigating the enigmatic murders aboard the ship. In version ‘A’, it is disclosed that Abhishek Bachchan's character, Jalbhushan, is the murderer alongside Fardeen Khan's character, Dev. Conversely, in the alternate version, Chitrangda Singh's character, Maya, is revealed to be the killer along with Jalbhushan. In a twist, characters claiming to be Jolly are exposed as impostors, with Bobby Deol making a cameo as the genuine Jolly.
The cast also includes notable actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever. The leading ladies of the film are Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma.
