As reported by Sacnilk, Housefull 5 experienced a slight decline in ticket sales on Monday but maintained a strong presence in theaters. Early estimates indicate that the film garnered ₹13.50 crore on its fourth day, bringing its total earnings to ₹101 crore within just four days.

The cast also includes notable actors such as Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever. The leading ladies of the film are Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma.

Housefull 5's creators have opted for two versions of the film, each featuring different conclusions. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff portray police officers investigating the enigmatic murders aboard the ship. In version ‘A’, it is disclosed that Abhishek Bachchan's character, Jalbhushan, is the murderer alongside Fardeen Khan's character, Dev. Conversely, in the alternate version, Chitrangada Singh's character, Maya, is revealed as the killer in collaboration with Jalbhushan. Additionally, characters claiming to be Jolly are ultimately exposed as impostors, with Bobby Deol making a cameo as the genuine Jolly.

This is not the first time an Indian film has employed the strategy of releasing multiple versions. The Malayalam film ‘Harikrishnans’ from 1998 also utilized this technique and achieved remarkable success. Featuring stars Mohanlal and Mammootty alongside Juhi Chawla, it generated considerable buzz, aiming to please fans of both leading actors by focusing on a love triangle.
