Aamir Khan has made a notable return to cinema with his latest film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which is garnering positive feedback from viewers. As per early estimates from Sacnilk, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' generated approximately ₹8.50 crore on its fifth day, bringing its total earnings to ₹75.15 crore.

There has been considerable discussion regarding the film's release on OTT platforms. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan intends to bypass traditional OTT releases in favor of a 'pay-per-view' model. This approach allows viewers to pay specifically for the film they wish to watch, eliminating the need for a subscription to an OTT service. This method mirrors the theatrical experience, where audiences pay for the specific movie they want to see, ultimately benefiting the producers.

According to sources cited by a prominent media outlet, Aamir Khan prefers this strategy for 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. An insider mentioned, 'Aamir is keen on avoiding direct streaming releases after theatrical runs, as it may deter audiences from enjoying films in cinemas. This is also why the film's promotional materials do not feature any streaming logos.'

In addition to Aamir Khan, the film features Genelia D’souza in a leading role, along with a talented ensemble cast including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, Zeenat Hussain, and Nikhat Khan in significant roles.
