Upcoming SUV Launches to Watch Out For in 2025

Automotive Industry Shifts Focus
The automotive sector is currently transitioning from traditional powertrains to electric and hybrid alternatives, leading to a busy year filled with numerous vehicle launches. While some models are expected to debut next year, others are anticipated to arrive just in time for the festive season.
All-New Kia Seltos

Following the recent introduction of the all-new Clavis, Kia is gearing up to unveil a facelifted version of the Seltos SUV. The vehicle has been spotted undergoing tests in Korea and more recently in India, alongside the new Venue facelift. With a focus on environmentally friendly powertrains, the updated Seltos may feature a hybrid option in addition to its current engine lineup.
Next Generation Mahindra Bolero
Mahindra is preparing for several new launches in the coming months. Recent sightings of the new generation Bolero indicate that it is nearing completion. The brand has been working on revamping the Bolero, which is particularly popular in tier-two cities with less developed road infrastructure.

Previously, Mahindra launched the Bolero Neo and updated the old Bolero multiple times. However, this new model appears to be a complete redesign, with speculation suggesting that its design closely resembles that of the G-Wagon and Land Rover Defender. The new Bolero is expected to launch within this fiscal year.
Tata Sierra EV
The Tata Sierra is reportedly in the final stages of its pre-production testing and is set to launch soon after the Tata Harrier EV. The internal combustion engine (ICE) variant has been seen testing multiple times, indicating that it will be available in India shortly. Tata has also announced plans to introduce an electric version of the Sierra following the launch of the conventional model.
Kia Clavis EV
After the recent launch of the ICE Kia Clavis, the brand is now preparing to introduce the Clavis EV. The electric version will undergo several modifications before its release, including a closed front grille and an EV powertrain that is expected to provide a range of approximately 460 km.
New Generation Hyundai Venue Facelift
The Hyundai Venue is set for a refresh, featuring a new front design similar to that of the Hyundai Alcazar. The vehicle was recently spotted testing alongside the upcoming Kia Seltos. If you're considering purchasing a car in this segment, it may be wise to wait a bit longer, as the new model is expected to be unveiled in October this year.
