SBI PO 2025: Online Registration Now Open for 541 Vacancies

SBI PO 2025 Recruitment Details
The State Bank of India (SBI) has initiated the online application process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the year 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications via the official SBI website at sbi.co.in. The deadline for application submission is July 14, 2025.
Vacancies Available
For the 2025 recruitment cycle, SBI has announced a total of 541 vacancies, which consist of 500 regular positions and 41 backlog positions.
Key Dates for SBI PO 2025
The call letters for the preliminary examination are expected to be released in the third or fourth week of July 2025. The preliminary exam will take place in July or August, with results announced in August or September. Call letters for the main examination will be issued in August or September, followed by the main exam in September. The results for the main exam will be declared in September or October. Additionally, the Psychometric Test, Interview, and Group Exercises are scheduled for October or November, with the final results expected in November or December.
Eligibility Criteria and Application Fee
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per the notification guidelines. A graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification is mandatory. Final year students can also apply but must present proof of graduation by September 30. Candidates in dual degree programs must also submit their final exam results by the same date. Those with qualifications in fields such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy are also eligible.
The application fee is set at ₹750 for Unreserved, EWS, and OBC candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from the fee.
Eligibility Restrictions
Candidates with outstanding debts to banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions, including credit card dues, will not be eligible for appointment unless they have settled their dues by the time the offer letter is issued. It is advised that candidates verify their CIBIL score/status before applying.
