Tragic Air Crash in Ahmedabad
In a heartbreaking incident, young cricketer Dhirdh Patel lost his life in a devastating plane crash in Ahmedabad. The Air India aircraft, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was en route to London when it went down in a residential area of Meghani Nagar shortly after taking off on Thursday. The flight, which had 242 passengers aboard, departed from runway 23 at 1:39 PM IST. Just moments after takeoff, the plane issued a Mayday distress signal, but subsequent attempts to establish communication were unsuccessful.
