Sonia Gandhi's Health Update

Sonia Gandhi, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Sunday night due to gastrointestinal problems, as confirmed by the hospital. She is currently under observation in the gastroenterology department, and further updates regarding her health are pending. The party has not released any official statements regarding her condition.


According to reports from a news agency, the hospital confirmed her admission and stated that she is being monitored closely.


The official statement from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital noted, 'Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the gastro department due to stomach-related issues and is currently under observation.'


Previous Admission for Routine Check-Up

On June 7, Sonia Gandhi was previously admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, after experiencing restlessness. Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, mentioned that her admission was for a routine health check-up following some minor health concerns. After examination, she was reported to be in stable condition.


Chauhan stated, 'Sonia Gandhi was brought in for a routine check-up. Her blood pressure was slightly elevated, but she is stable now.'
