Both players have frequently been part of the same playing XI, and Rohit recounted how, during their tour of the West Indies, Pujara received multiple warnings but chose to ignore them, leading to regret.


Rohit and Pujara have been integral members of the Indian cricket team for many years, first teaming up in the Under-19 World Cup in 2006.

Rohit inquired, "Is there anything about the 2012 West Indies tour in your book? What transpired?" This prompted Pujara to reveal a personal story. "I haven't shared this before. My wife knows something, but not the specifics. Being a vegetarian, we were searching for a meal late at night in Trinidad and Tobago. Unfortunately, while returning, I was mugged.
