RJ Mahvash Defends Her Career Against Trolls Linking Her Success to Yuzvendra Chahal
RJ Mahvash Responds to Online Criticism
RJ Mahvash has recently addressed online trolls who attribute her success to cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. In a new Instagram video, she refuted claims that Chahal was responsible for her career, instead highlighting her own accomplishments and experience in the entertainment industry since 2019.
In the video caption, she stated, “Jab tak khud ke liye nahi bologe, koi tumhare liye nahi bolega (If you don’t advocate for yourself, no one will do it for you),” directly responding to the viral comments.
“I have been in this industry since 2019; let me showcase my career before that,” she asserted, presenting a montage of her career highlights, including her film debut in Section 108 alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The video also addressed a comment questioning her cricket knowledge, stating, ‘She has reached the cricket pitch, but does she know anything about the sport?’
In response to the troll, Mahvash remarked, “Jab tu paida bhi nahi hua tha na chotu, tab se cricket shows host kar rahi hu (I have been hosting cricket shows since before you were born). Since 2019, I have been on the pitch, so stop relying on forwarded messages from WhatsApp University.” She showcased clips of her hosting cricket-related content and interacting with notable players like MS Dhoni, Chris Gayle, and Harbhajan Singh.
Recently, Mahvash has been in the spotlight due to her rumored relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. They have been seen together multiple times during the IPL season, with Mahvash openly supporting Chahal and the Punjab Kings. A viral video captured the two enjoying a dinner together in Jaipur.
Despite both denying dating rumors, their frequent public appearances at cricket events continue to spark speculation about their relationship.
These sightings follow Chahal's recent divorce from influencer Dhanashree Verma, which was finalized on March 20, 2025, after they married in 2020.
