Aamir Khan's Mother to Debut in 'Sitaare Zameen Par'

Aamir Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which has become even more special as his mother, Zeenat Hussain, will be making her acting debut. During a recent media interaction, Aamir shared that the film's director, RS Prasanna, encouraged him to involve his mother in the project.

As reported by a media outlet, Aamir mentioned, “Usually, my mother doesn’t express a desire to visit my shoots. However, on the morning of the song shoot, she called me asking, ‘Where are you shooting today? I want to come too.’ I invited her over, and my sister brought her in a wheelchair. It was a joyful wedding song, and we were having a great time filming while she observed us.”

He continued, “Prasanna approached me and said, ‘If you don’t mind, could you ask your mother to be in the shot? It’s the final song of the film, a wedding celebration, and it would mean a lot to me to have her as one of the guests.’”

Aamir humorously recounted his hesitation, saying, “I thought he was crazy! I wouldn’t have the courage to ask her to participate. She is quite stubborn and wouldn’t agree. But he insisted I at least try. So, I asked her, and to my surprise, she agreed to be part of one or two shots. This is the only film she has ever been involved in.”

'Sitaare Zameen Par' is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
