Tata Harrier EV Crash Test Results

The Tata Harrier EV has successfully undergone crash testing by Bharat NCAP, achieving an impressive 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupants. According to the detailed report from the crash test, the Harrier EV demonstrated excellent safety performance for adult passengers across all body areas during the frontal offset barrier test. The vehicle also maintained robust safety standards during the side movable deformable barrier test and the side pile impact test. Remarkably, the Harrier EV scored a perfect 16 out of 16 in both the front deformable barrier test and the side movable deformable barrier test. Overall, it achieved an adult occupant protection score of 32 out of 32 and a child protection score of approximately 45 out of 49.


Child Occupant Safety Assessment

In terms of child occupant safety, the Harrier EV excelled with a dynamic score of 24.00 out of a maximum of 24, a CRS installation score of 12.00, and a vehicle assessment score of 9 out of 13. The tested variant included features such as frontal airbags, belt pretensioners, and belt load limiters. Additionally, the vehicle was equipped with side head curtain airbags and side pelvis airbags.


Frontal Barrier Test Performance

During the offset deformable frontal barrier test, the Harrier EV exhibited stability and balance upon impact. The vehicle's chassis maintained its structural integrity while effectively absorbing the collision's force.
